Chpt d'Australie - Gerrans titré devant Evans & Porte

Simon Gerrans a décroché cette nuit le titre de champion d’Australie de cyclisme sur route. Le coureur de la formation Orica GreenEDGE Cycling Team a battu sur la ligne deux poids lourds du peloton : Cadel Evans (BMC Racing Team) et Richie Porte (Sky Pro Cycling). Gerrans, qui décroche son deuxième titre de sa carrière, succède au palmarès à son coéquipier Luke Durbridge. Plus tôt dans la semaine, Michael Hepburn (Orica GreenEDGE Cycling Team) a arraché le titre de champion d’Australie du contre-la-montre.
